Office of Diversity, Equality & Training
The Office of Diversity, Equality, and Training (ODET) is responsible for the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to promote and monitor progressive statewide workforce management in the areas of equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, retention, inclusion, and diversity. ODET also has responsibility for the development, coordination, and implementation of all training, employee development, and related programs conducted on behalf of the Executive Branch.
ODET:
- Offers classroom workshops, eLearning, and self-study resources.
- Offers an array of training courses and professional development opportunities available to all employees and supervisors, including: anti-harassment, diversity and inclusion, generations in the workplace, leadership, managing employees and many others.
- Manages the Employee Educational Assistance and Governor’s Minority Management Trainee Program.
- Provides consulting services upon request.
