State Holidays

Team members receive twelve​ and a half paid holidays each year (13.5 in years with a presidential election), in addition to monthly sick, annual, compensatory leave, and a number of special leave options.​

          • One-half day, Friday, March 29 - Good Friday
          • Monday, May 27 - Memorial Day
          • Wednesday, June 19 - Juneteenth
          • Thursday, July 4 - Independence Day
          • Monday, September 2 - Labor Day
          • Tuesday, November 5 - Presidential Election Day
          • Monday, November 11 - Veterans Day
          • Thursday & Friday, November 28-29 - Thanksgiving
          • Tuesday & Wednesday, December 24, 25 - Christmas
          • Tuesday & Wednesday, December 31, January 1 - New Year's​

Leave

State employees enjoy the benefit of many types of leave.  Leave can be paid or unpaid. Some examples of leave include: annual, sick, compensatory (also known as 'comp'), and even family medical leave.  Read more
