Survivor stories of courage will inspire others!

The Personnel Cabinet and the Kentucky Employees’ Health Plan introduce you to three cancer survivors who share their stories of hope, courage and inspiration. The story that each of these women have to share brings awareness and encouragement to others to get preventative screenings. Screening is vitally important for early detection and treatment.

“The earlier the diagnosis, the greater the chance of cure,” says Janis Friend, Survivor.

We are thankful for the message each of these incredible women has to share and echo their call to “Just get it done, don’t put it off… Say to yourself, I’m going to get my mammogram and I’m going to do it for myself, I’m going to do it for my children, I’m going to do it for my family, and I’m going to do it today.” Sheila Rose, Survivor.
