Team Kentucky Mentorship Program

Empowering every employee to get the most out of their experience in state government.

The Team Kentucky Mentorship Program (TKMP) pairs employees with experienced colleagues or retirees who carry decades of institutional knowledge for twelve structured months. Every cabinet runs its own cycle with its own coordinator, but the Personnel Cabinet has created resources to assist in the implementation of this program within your agency.

Why participate in the TKMP?

Ultimately, all parties benefit from a mentorship program. Mentees accelerate their learning and career progression, mentors sharpen leadership skills and regain motivation, and the agency retains talent, builds capabilities, and strengthens collaboration.
