Current Members
Enrolling in coverage
Open enrollment, typically held in October of each year, is set aside for current members to change or adjust their health insurance coverage choices. Watch for announcements about open enrollment in the fall.
Changing your coverage
If you have experienced a life-changing (qualifying) event – a new child, divorce, marriage, etc. – you can adjust your health benefit options to reflect your current needs and status. Complete an enrollment/change application and submit to your insurance coordinator or human resource generalist. You have 35 calendar days from the date of your qualifying event to submit your paperwork. Be sure to ask your insurance coordinator or human resource generalist for specifics.
Qualifying events might include:
- Birth, adoption
- Marriage
- Loss of coverage
- Ineligible dependents
- Court orders
- Medicare/Medicaid Entitlement
Can't remember which plan you chose?
